Strand 2
:
Is for young mothers aged 16-25 and lasts 6 months.
You will engage in a variety of skills training. The content of the training  will depend on the needs of the individual group but can include IT, DIY, parenting skills, creative arts, nutrition and fitness classes in our on site gym.

Strand 2 will be supported by an on-site creche
and your travel costs will be paid.

For more info on strand 2 please contact Sadie Hayes on 029 20493351 or email sadie.hayes@womensworkshop.org.uk

After Strand 2 the 6 months skills training you can move onto Strand 3, which is a supported period of volunteering, with full day childcare provided and travel costs paid.

It will enable you to try out your newly learnt skills in a different setting.

The volunteering opportunities will be a mix of individual and group activities.
